Do You Love Old Time Radio Shows?
The First Generation Radio Archives
is the source for some of the best-sounding old time radio programs available
anywhere. And now, when you join the Archives, you can also support Helping
Hands for the Blind.

Here's how it works:
Visit the First Generation Radio Archives website
by clicking on the logo to the left or visiting http://www.radioarchives.org
and signing up for a free, no-cost, no-obligation membership. On the membership
page, when you come to the box labeled "Referral Code," enter the
letters HHB; this will ensure that the Archives knows you're joining them as
a Helping Hands supporter. From this point forward, whenever you choose to purchase
an Archives compact disc collection, part of the purchase price of everything
you buy from the Archives will be returned to Helping Hands --
in cash! It's truly a win-win situation for both you and Helping Hands,
too: you have the chance to hear some of the best sounding old time radio entertainment
ever made available and, at the same time, financially support the activities
and goals of Helping Hands for the Blind.

Helping hands for the Blind is pleased to announce that we have begun our Old-time Radio Recorded Books Project. We are looking for volunteer readers who would be willing to record old-time radio books for the blind. All one needs is a good cassette recorder and a microphone. We supply the book and the cassette. We then transfer the recorded material to disks which we give to the blind old-time radio fans throughout the world. For more information please contact: Robert Acosta at: mailto:boacosta@pacbell.net
Over the past few months, we have sponsored two Old-time radio Symposiums which we have recorded onto disk. Our virtual symposiums are held in an audio conference room. All you need is a microphone and a computer. If you wish, you may text chat with us. We have the Symposium of June 9, 2005, and for September 24, 2005. If you would like these mp3 disks please let me know.
Please go to the old-time radio links below for your enjoyment.
I carry more than 55,000 episodes and add at least 500 episodes per month.
I also offer a free, no-obligation, 92-episode sampler CD so that folks can
get a feel for the quality and selection I provide. I ship all orders within
48 hours of receiving payment, so they make great last-minute gifts, too!
