Old Time Radio for the Blind:

Helping hands for the Blind is pleased to announce that we have begun our Old-time Radio Recorded Books Project. We are looking for volunteer readers who would be willing to record old-time radio books for the blind. All one needs is a good cassette recorder and a microphone. We supply the book and the cassette. We then transfer the recorded material to disks which we give to the blind old-time radio fans throughout the world. For more information please contact: Robert Acosta at: mailto:boacosta@pacbell.net

Over the past few months, we have sponsored two Old-time radio Symposiums which we have recorded onto disk. Our virtual symposiums are held in an audio conference room. All you need is a microphone and a computer. If you wish, you may text chat with us. We have the Symposium of June 9, 2005, and for September 24, 2005. If you would like these mp3 disks please let me know.

Please go to the old-time radio links below for your enjoyment.

I carry more than 55,000 episodes and add at least 500 episodes per month. I also offer a free, no-obligation, 92-episode sampler CD so that folks can get a feel for the quality and selection I provide. I ship all orders within 48 hours of receiving payment, so they make great last-minute gifts, too! www.theradiolady.com
